Mr. Wilfred Arthur Abrahams, MP a Barbadian lawyer in practice for over 22 years, has the honor of being the youngest ever president of the Barbados Bar Association as well as the Organisation of Commonwealth Caribbean Bar Associations. For almost 10 years he sat on the Board of Trustees of the Caribbean Court of Justice Trust Fund and is passionate about all things Barbadian and Caribbean. He has been associated with a number of charities including the National Forum against Domestic Violence and SAVE Foundation. After the May 24, 2018 election he was offered the opportunity by Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley to assume the ministerial portfolio of Minister of Energy and Water Resources. He enjoys the challenge of trying to solve issues with respect to our water and sewage woes and equally enjoys talking about his government’s agenda for 100% Renewable Energy by 2030. Minister Abrahams is married to Natalie, loves learning new things, and enjoys socializing, children and animals.
